The Propane Buzzcast: Strong Cold Signals for February

February 13, 2026

Jon Miller and Chris Cox return with an important episode of The Propane Buzzcast, as much below colder than normal temperatures assault the eastern half of the United States this week. They discuss how long this cold will last (SPOILER: Possibly all of February) and take a look at what some mid-month weather phenomena could do to the March forecast, which is already colder than normal for the folks who have been colder than normal for much of January. This is an all-hands-on-deck time period for the propane retail industry. Click on this link to watch the video, or click on the image below.

The video embedded below from BAMWx.com, who have absolutely crushed this winter's forecast, is also an important one. While Chris and Jon discuss some aspects of this video, seeing and hearing it from the actual meteorologist is something you should do. We aren't trying to add more work to your plate, but we may be facing one of the most challenging supply periods in decades for the propane retail industry, at least for the eastern half of the country.
